The president of the Jamaica
Football Federation (JFF), Captain Horace Burrell and the Board of
the JFF would like to express condolence to the family of the late
Linnel McLean Snr, who passed on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
McLean Snr, a former businessman,
is survived by son Linnel Jr and widow Beryl.
McLean Jr, is a part of the JFF
family having served the sport in various capacity’s as a former
Second Vice President of the JFF, President of the Kingston and St
Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) and is the current president
of the Trelawny Football Association (TFA).
Though the elder McLean at 85 had
passed the Biblical milestone of three scores and 10 (70 years
old) and had been ailing for a time, it is never easy to lose a
loved one. To Linnel Jr, Mrs Beryl McLean and other relatives and
friends we empathize with you and urge you to find strength and
security in the creator.
